Job Summary

Salary Range: $29.00 to $32.00 Per Hour, dependent upon education and experience.

TERRITORY: Rye, New York and surrounding areas

Responsible for providing technical direction and support to customers on operation and maintenance of company products. Serve as customer contact on technical and service‑related problems. Demonstrate uses and advantages of products. Work closely with sales and marketing, QA/QC and research and development to address customer concerns, determine corrective action and customer follow‑up. May be responsible for a designated region.

Responsibilities

• Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment within time requirements established by service management.
• Provide preventative maintenance in accordance with published procedures. Keep performance and maintenance records on the equipment.
• Provide guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques.
• Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action.
• Advise and assist in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations.
• May participate in installation planning phase.
• Maintain customer goodwill through effective communication of all services rendered, on‑site arrival time, late arrival, service issues, positive attitude, business appearance, as defined by service management.
• Effectively manage company assets including company vehicle, computer, inventory parts, test equipment and tools.
• All employees are responsible for ensuring compliance with company documents, programs and activities related to HSE and QMS, as per roles and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year working in a similar field‑based repair position.
• Computer skills are essential. Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to obtain credit approval for Corporate Credit card.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent thinking.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and bend, push as required.
• Manual dexterity.
• Willingness to work up to and over 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, weekends, holidays, and after‑hours.
• Occasional overnight travel.
• Must maintain all requirements for access to customer sites, including active compliance with all credentialing requirements (may include COVID‑19 and annual influenza vaccinations), to perform essential functions of the role.
• Participates in any reasonable work activities assigned by management.
