To strengthen our Service team, we are looking for a talented and team-oriented Field Service Engineer to provide on-site and/or remote technical support for our customers, who are often leaders in their respective scientific disciplines.
Field service of existing TOPTICA laser systems at customer sites
Installation of new laser systems at customer locations with regular travel
Service and repair of laser systems in-house when needed
Technical support and troubleshooting with both internal and external customers
Periodic travel to TOPTICA's headquarters in Munich for training and product orientation
Significant experience and skill in hands-on work with cw and/or ultrafast lasers and optical systems
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to adapt to unexpected challenges while maintaining effectiveness and a collaborative attitude
Comfortable in high-pressure situations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing personality and desire to interact with people
Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds
Unrestricted right to work in United States
Experience installing and aligning optical systems
