Job summary

TOPTICA Photonics Inc. is seeking a Laser Production Engineer to assemble, align, and test high power CW OPOs for on-time completion. You will record data to verify performance and quality of laser systems and identify technical problems during manufacturing, contributing to effective solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with cw and ultrafast lasers, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a production environment in the Rochester area.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics, Optics/Photonics, or a related scientific discipline required or equivalent job experience
• Prior experience and skill in hands-on work with cw and/or ultrafast lasers and optical techniques
• Detail-oriented with a high standard of quality
• Able to work independently and as a team player
• Unrestricted right to work in the United States

To strengthen our production team, we are looking for a laser production engineer who enjoys building state-of-the-art lasers with the highest quality and specs.

What can you expect in the role of Laser Production Engineer?
