Job summary

East Coast Metrology (ECM) seeks engineers who want travel, challenging projects, and world-class metrology technology. You will work on measurement and alignment projects for aerospace, marine, automotive, energy, and defense clients worldwide.

Role involves extensive travel (50-70%), field deployments, and on-site collaboration with engineers and manufacturers to solve real-world challenges. The position offers growth and hands-on learning with advanced equipment.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for learning.
  • Comfortable working both in the field and in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Experience with GD&T, 3D metrology software, or measurement systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Master technology including laser trackers, portable CMM arms, and 3D scanning systems.
  • Travel to customer sites across the U.S. and internationally to support measurement projects.
  • Receive hands-on training with advanced equipment, software, and proprietary methodologies.
  • Lead projects that align with your interests, strengths, and career goals.
  • Work directly with engineers, manufacturers, and innovators who are shaping the future.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50-70% domestically and internationally to support customer projects across various industries and locations.
