East Coast Metrology (ECM) is seeking engineers who enjoy travel and tackling unique measurement challenges with cutting-edge technology. You will work on projects for aerospace, marine, automotive, energy, and defense industries around the world.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, field work, and opportunities to lead projects that match your strengths and goals, with extensive travel up to 50-70% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for learning.
  • Comfortable working both in the field and in manufacturing environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Experience with GD&T, 3D metrology software, or measurement systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Master industry-leading technology including laser trackers, portable CMM arms, and 3D scanning systems.
  • Travel to customer sites across the U.S. and internationally to support critical measurement and alignment projects.
  • Receive extensive hands-on training with advanced equipment, software, and proprietary methodologies.
  • Lead projects that align with your interests, strengths, and career goals.
  • Work directly with engineers, manufacturers, and innovators who are shaping the future.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50-70% domestically and internationally to support customer projects across a variety of industries and locations.
