Job summary

MindCapture is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair advanced diagnostic systems at hospitals and laboratories. You will ensure performance, safety and continuity in critical environments while delivering reliable support.

You will travel to customer sites for installation and calibration, handle technical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and collaborate with our technical team. The role offers growth, training and a supportive on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor or Master degree in Electromechanics, Electromechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
• Living in Sint-Truiden and Tienen region with flexibility to support Brussels when required.
• Willing to work flexible hours and participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and calibrate high-tech laboratory instruments at customer sites.
• Perform technical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

As a Field Service Engineer you ensure high quality technical support for advanced laboratory and diagnostic equipment across hospitals and laboratories. You install, maintain and repair systems that healthcare professionals rely on every day. Your work guarantees performance, safety and continuity in environments where reliability is critical.

Required competences & skills

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor or Master degree in Electromechanics, Electromechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
• Living in the Sint-Truiden and Tienen region with flexibility to support Brussels when required
• Hands on, solution driven and comfortable working in dynamic environments
• Customer oriented with strong communication skills
• Youarephysicallyabletoperformfieldserviceactivities,includingstandingforextendedperiods,bending,kneeling,workinginconfinedspaceswhenrequired,andsafelyliftingandcarryingequipmentofupto20kg
• Fluent in Dutch and French with good command of English
• Knowledge of IT and network infrastructure is an advantage
