Job Description

Are you passionate about the biomedical and device industry? We offer an exciting opportunity with on-the-job training to help you excel in this field. The role involves approximately 50% travel across the United States, providing opportunities to explore new places while making a difference. Travel perks such as airline miles and hotel points are also included.

  1. Be a self-starter, using independent judgment.
  2. Travel approximately 50%, covering various locations within the continental United States.
  3. Maintain accurate service records, expense reports, and datasheets, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
  4. Familiarize yourself with company quality manuals, safety procedures, and manufacturing regulations.
  5. Interact professionally with customers during on-site visits and via telephone.
  6. Work on component and device assembly and repair.
  7. Install and test medical equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  8. Implement measures to keep equipment in top condition.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve device performance issues promptly.
  10. Be prepared to address equipment malfunctions and resolve issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in electrical engineering technology, with coursework in digital and analog circuits.
  • Strong understanding of electronic and engineering principles, with the ability to troubleshoot using schematics, DVM, and oscilloscope.
  • Mechanical skills in assembly/disassembly environments and knowledge of soldering techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to obtain a credit card.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Effective time management skills.

Additional Qualifications

  • Understanding of biomedical devices and electronics.
  • Engineering degree.
  • Field experience.
