Job summary

HYVE Solutions in Las Vegas is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide onsite IT support for hardware, software, and network access across office and production areas. You will manage user accounts and permissions, perform minor server tasks, and maintain local infrastructure, with a focus on service quality and security alignment.

The role requires 2–4 years of IT support experience in a manufacturing or mixed environment, strong troubleshooting, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in IT support or field service.
• Experience in a manufacturing or mixed office/production environment.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, permissions management, and basic server administration.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite user support for hardware, software, network access, and general IT issues at office and production areas.
• Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls across Hyve systems and applications.
• Perform minor server support, including basic troubleshooting, monitoring, patch coordination, and escalation to corporate IT when needed.
• Support local infrastructure such as workstations, printers, scanners, badge systems, and production-floor terminals.
• Document issues, resolutions, and system changes to maintain records and support improvements.
• Coordinate with corporate IT teams to align with security standards and configurations.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including equipment setup and account provisioning.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues impacting users or production.
• Support network connectivity troubleshooting and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Maintain a strong customer-service mindset and timely resolution of requests.
• Perform other duties to support facility’s operational and technical needs.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in IT support, field service, or a similar technical role.
• Experience supporting users in a manufacturing or mixed office/production environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, permissions management, and basic server administration.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues independently.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to lift equipment (up to ~40 lbs), stand/walk on the production floor, and support a dynamic environment.
• Detail‑oriented with strong documentation and organizational habits.
• Ability to work onsite full‑time and support occasional after‑hours needs as business requires.
