Job summary

HYVE Solutions in Las Vegas is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support onsite users, manage permissions, and provide hands-on IT support for server and infrastructure needs in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will collaborate with corporate IT, handle onboarding, monitor performance, and resolve issues promptly to keep office and production operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of IT support or field service experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or mixed office/production environment preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, permissions, basic server admin.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.
• Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and move around production floors.
• Detail-oriented with solid documentation habits.
• Willingness to work onsite full-time and occasional after-hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for hardware, software, network access across office and manufacturing areas.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Perform basic server support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and patch coordination.
• Support workstations, printers, scanners, badge systems, and production-floor terminals.
• Document issues and resolutions to maintain records and drive improvements.
• Coordinate with corporate IT to follow security standards and configurations.
• Assist onboarding and offboarding tasks, including equipment setup.
• Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain strong customer-service mindset and timely resolution of requests.
• Perform other duties to support facility operations.

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support onsite users, manage system permissions, and provide hands‑on support for local server and infrastructure needs. This role is ideal for a technical professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoys supporting both office and manufacturing users.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite user support for hardware, software, network access, and general IT issues across office and manufacturing areas.
• Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls across Hyve systems and applications.
• Perform minor server support, including basic troubleshooting, monitoring, patch coordination, and escalation to corporate IT when needed.
• Support local infrastructure such as workstations, printers, scanners, badge systems, and production-floor terminals.
• Document issues, resolutions, and system changes to maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with corporate IT teams to ensure alignment with security standards, policies, and system configurations.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including equipment setup, account provisioning, and access removal.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues impacting users or production operations.
• Support network connectivity troubleshooting and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Maintain a strong customer-service mindset and ensure timely resolution of support requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the facility’s operational and technical needs.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in IT support, field service, or a similar technical role.
• Experience supporting users in a manufacturing or mixed office/production environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, permissions management, and basic server administration.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues independently.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to lift equipment (up to :40 lbs), stand/walk on the production floor, and support a dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational habits.
• Ability to work onsite full-time and support occasional after-hours needs as business requires.
