Job summary

HYVE Solutions is seeking an experienced Manager of Test Engineering in Las Vegas, NV to lead testing for server, rack, storage, and GPU products. You will shape test strategies and mentor engineers while collaborating with product teams to ensure robust deployments.

The role requires deep debugging, root cause analysis, and hands-on coding in Python and MySQL, with Lean Six Sigma experience. You will own test plans, improve scripts, and drive cost-efficient global escalation support.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and MySQL; PHP preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 tech support for servers, racks, and storage products.
• Lead test plan development for new products.
• Verify scripts from software team and approve deployments.
• Improve test plans and scripts for efficiency.
• Code improvements to reduce UI and labor costs.
• Maintain test reporting tool and DB.
• Globally support escalated test issues.
• Provide technical direction to testing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 tech support on troubleshooting and failure analysis for server, rack, storage, GPU products
• Provide guidance of test plan for new products
• Verify scripts from software development team and give green lights for deployments
• Improve test plan and test script to improve efficiency
• Make improvement on coding and reduce UI and labor cost
• Maintain reporting tool/website from test DB
• Globally support test escalated issues
• Leadership: provide technical direction to testing engineering team
• Hiring and retaining test engineer talents

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or above, major in engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in server, rack, storage, GPU industrial products
• Knowledge of programming and databases (Python and MySQL required, PHP preferred)
• Demonstrated knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles of continuous improvement
• Skilled in debugging and root cause analysis
