Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing customer accounts by providing hardware/software maintenance of stand-alone Agfa products and associated peripheral equipment. Your main responsibilities include installing, repairing, and ensuring customer satisfaction, as well as promoting our company offerings.

Location:

• Remote: Indiana

What You'll Do:

• Install and repair assigned Agfa products, including safety verification, testing, and operational review with customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs, including courtesy visits and managing time & material accounts.
• Maintain communication with the Regional Manager to escalate issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Document service calls, expenses, and time reports accurately and submit regularly.
• Manage parts ordering and return of repairable components.
• Ensure service aids, tools, and diagnostic equipment are ready for use.
• Coordinate with the scheduler to meet response time and uptime commitments.
• Promote all Agfa offerings, including maintenance agreements and professional services.
• Adhere to safety policies and drive responsibly.
• Interact effectively with customers, demonstrating professionalism and adaptability.
• Collaborate with other employees and serve as a conduit to management and sales for customer issues.
• Possess product expertise in similar product lines and environments.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in electronics technology or equivalent.
• 2-3 years' experience in high-tech fields, printing, publishing, or inkjet environments.
• Strong communication skills.
• Problem-solving and judgment skills.
• Knowledge of graphics, inkjet, printing/publishing markets is a plus.
• Remote diagnostics experience is advantageous.
