Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Brisbane to deliver on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair for laboratory and medical instrumentation across Queensland and interstate territories. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on major diagnostic equipment (Grifols Panther, Xpress, Erytra, Eflexis).
• Maintain strong customer-facing presence by visiting client sites ~4 times per week to ensure high uptime.
• Manage service territory (Queensland with interstate travel to NSW) balancing travel with service delivery.
• Collaborate with Supervisor and service team to share insights, coordinate scheduling and maintain high standards.
• Document all service activities and maintenance reports per company guidelines and regulatory standards.

As a Field Service Engineer based in Brisbane, your mission will be to provide high‑quality on‑site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our specialized laboratory and medical instrumentation across Queensland and interstate territories. You will serve as the primary customer‑facing technical expert, ensuring equipment reliability and maximizing customer satisfaction within hospitals and laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on major diagnostic equipment, including the Grifols Panther, Xpress, Erytra, and Eflexis platforms.
• Maintain a strong customer‑facing presence, visiting client sites approximately four times a week to ensure high instrument uptime and address technical issues promptly.
• Manage your service territory (primarily Queensland with occasional interstate travel to New South Wales), balancing regular travel requirements with efficient service delivery.
• Collaborate closely with your Supervisor and the broader service team to share technical insights, coordinate scheduling, and maintain high standards of teamwork.
• Document all service activities, maintenance reports, and technical interventions accurately in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience as a Field Service Engineer, ideally within a medical, hospital, or laboratory environment. A strong technical passion for instruments and servicing complex machinery.
• Mindset: Highly energetic, enthusiastic, eager to learn, and a dedicated team player with excellent customer‑facing communication skills.
• Education & Qualifications: A degree or background in Electrical Engineering (or a Master's degree) is highly regarded but not mandatory. A valid Australian driver’s license and the flexibility to travel across assigned territories are required.
