Job summary

Sora Resource Group in Davenport, IA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain medical lab analyzers and related instrumentation. The role requires a solid electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting background and willingness to travel overnight within the Quad Cities area.

Applicants should have a Certificate or AAS in electronics and at least 3 years of field service experience. A valid vaccination status is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS in electronics or related discipline.
• Good experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum 3 years as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or medical instrumentation is a plus.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
• Establish a strong customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory including tools and parts.
• Provide basic on-site training on company instrumentation.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater DAVENPORT, IA (QUAD CITIES AREA)

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater DAVENPORT, IA.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
