Job summary

Job Juncture in the Sioux Falls, SD area is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and maintain medical laboratory analyzers and related instrumentation. The role requires hands-on electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting, and involves installation, preventive maintenance, and customer training.

Candidates should have a certificate or AAS in electronics, at least 3 years in field service, willingness to travel overnight, and full vaccination.

Qualifications

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Providesbasic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation
• Base salary 65K - 85K depending on experience (overtime & performance bonus should add an additional 4K - 8K annually, probably more.).

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater SIOUX FALLS, SD area. Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.
