Job summary

A leading equipment service company located in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking a Field Service Engineer. You'll be responsible for providing phone support, maintaining equipment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a certificate in electronics and at least 3 years of experience in the field. Strong communication skills and the ability to perform physical tasks are essential. Opportunities for travel (50-75%) are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience with skills in training, installing and repairing various models of industrial micro-processor controlled equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely phone support.
• Setup, install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Komax machines.
• Complete and provide all necessary documentation to customers.

Pay range: $28 - $40

Responsibilities

• Provideaccurateandtimelyphonesupport.
• Setup,install,repair,andperformpreventivemaintenanceonKomaxmachinesin-houseoratcustomersites.
• Completeandprovideallnecessarydocumentationtocustomer,sales,andservicesupervisorandattachittoCRMforin-house workorworkatcustomersitesinatimelymanner.
• MaintaincustomerandunithistoryonCRMdatabase.
• Inputofinteractionswithcustomers,sales,etc.mustbeenteredintotheCRMdatabaseinaformatthatisclearandconcise.
• Maintainaneatandorganizedenvironmentatadesk,in-house workareas,andatcustomersites.
• Communicateandcoordinatewithotherdepartmentsorpersonnelwhentheuseoftheirequipmentisneeded.
• Theabovejobdescriptionisnotintendedtobeanall-inclusivelistofdutiesandstandardsoftheposition.Incumbentswillfollowanyotherinstructions,andperformanyotherrelatedduties,asassignedbytheirsupervisor.
• PerformatahighlevelontheKomaxobjectivesprogram.
• Adheretocompanypoliciesandproceduresasstatedinthequalitysystemdocumentationmanual,thesafetymanual,andtheemployeehandbook.
