Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to perform on-site repairs, start-ups, and preventive maintenance across customer locations. This remote role requires daily travel from a home office, with a company vehicle and occasional overnights.

The position offers extensive training, career progression on a technical track, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401K, health/dental, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

Two+ years experience with power systems, battery technologies, or electronics.
Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics from an accredited institution.
Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree engineering program or applicable military training.
Ability to read electrical schematics and perform troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site support for emergency repairs, startup services, and preventive maintenance.
Travel to customer sites in company-provided vehicle with potential overnight stays.
Participate in safety training, audits, and compliance programs.
