Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking a Field Service Electrician to perform on-site electrical installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of power systems. This role serves as the primary on-site technical resource, delivering exceptional customer service while diagnosing and resolving complex electrical issues.

Travel up to 90% of the time; the position requires reading schematics, adherence to OSHA standards, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1,000 hrs electrical apprenticeship; Electrical Certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an industrial electrician in installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
• Proficient reading of electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; able to travel up to 90%.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work independently or in a small team.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of industrial and commercial power systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical circuits, control panels, motors, and switchgear.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Maintain accurate service reports and timekeeping for field activities.
• Communicate effectively with customers to confirm service completion and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams for feedback.
