Job summary

Hawthorne Cat is hiring a Field Service Dispatcher/Coordinator in San Diego. You will coordinate daily field service operations, dispatch technicians, and maintain strong communication with customers and teams to ensure timely, accurate service delivery.

The role emphasizes accurate estimates, invoicing, and monitoring WIP while supporting collections and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of general office experience.
• Three to five years of customer service and/or sales experience.
• Three to five years of heavy equipment parts/service experience preferred.
• PC skills are required.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work at a fast pace under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates day-to-day field service operations and scheduling.
• Serves as primary liaison between customers, technicians, and service teams.
• Prepares and communicates service estimates and quotations.
• Processes customer invoices, proformas, and supporting documentation.
• Monitors Work-in-Process (WIP) and billing accuracy.
• Manages technician scheduling, dispatch, and resource utilization.
• Supports collections and verifies customer account status.
