Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Dispatcher (CES) to organize daily dispatch of Field Service Technicians for a metro Houston area.

You will coordinate with Centralized Branch/Operations Managers, Service Managers and Inside Sales Reps to ensure service calls and exchanges are properly scheduled and executed to guarantee superior customer service. This role emphasizes scheduling, communication, and adherence to DOT/FMCR rules, with opportunities for advancement in a growing global

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, schedule and dispatch Technicians within the Centralized branch territory utilizing system resources and map module to maximize efficiency
• Drive accurate Service Repair time measurement by ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Support branches in maintaining customer relations via phone, making additions, cancellations, and changes regarding equipment location or delivery time
• Balance equipment repair with PM currency demands of on-rent equipment.
• Ensure necessary service vehicle parts inventory.
• Prioritize equipment repairs as necessary to minimize Service Repair time.
• Schedule off hour/emergency on-call duty with all field technicians.
• Manage and process invoicing of all Field Service Customer Owned Equipment repair, Damage/abuse and Warranty claim processes.
• Assign specific service trucks, as required.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and discipline through exemplary personal compliance, accountability and pro-active communication.
