What We Are Looking For:

  • Are you currently or have you previously been an ASE certified technician?
  • Do you enjoy training and leading a team of Technical Advisors/Technicians?
  • Do you like delegating responsibilities and being the team’s “go-to”?

If your answer is yes, MSX International might have the right opportunity for you! We are expanding one of our signature programs and are seeking a Team Lead to supervise a team of automotive technical experts. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, advising dealers, contributing to first-time fix success, and liaising with OEM departments. Daily responsibilities include local travel to dealerships, training Technical Advisors/Technicians, assigning work, supervising activities, reporting KPIs, and problem-solving.

The Lead Technical Advisor key tasks include:

  • Leading, supervising, and training Technical Advisors.
  • Being knowledgeable in all duties of a skilled automotive technician.
  • Leading discussions, meetings, and acting as a subject matter expert.
  • Focusing on reducing buybacks through timely and correct repairs.
  • Providing dealership consultations on repair documentation, service agreements, and inspections.
  • Improving customer experience and increasing “fixed first visit” cases.
  • Reporting team KPIs.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of automotive experience; current or previous ASE certification.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Experience in training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Motivated, critical thinker, adaptive, autonomous, with measurable results.
  • Ability to travel locally/regionally.
  • Proficient in analyzing and documenting vehicle cases using Excel.
  • Effective communication of technical information at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze data and create reports using templates.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
