Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. in Mason, Ohio, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service the Dayton/Mason/Cincinnati region. You will install, calibrate, and diagnose electro-mechanical assemblies at customer sites, both in person and remotely, 60–80% travel.

You will support in-house diagnostics, promote value-added services, and enter service data into our database. Ideal candidates have BSEET or equivalent, field-service experience in industrial automation, and strong communication

Qualifications

Education: BSEET or equivalent related experience.
Field service experience in industrial automation is required or preferred.
Ability to read schematics, procedures and technical documentation.
Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.
Organizational skills to plan travel and service calls.
Willingness to travel 60-80% regionally with short notice.

Responsibilities

Install components and solutions from Mitsubishi Electric for field service.
Calibrate, tune, rebuild and maintain customer equipment in the field.
Support in-house diagnostics and programming systems.
Present and sell value-added services to improve uptime.
Enter service activity and inquiries into the database, ensuring data integrity.
Collaborate with Senior Engineers and follow guidance.
