Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. is seeking a MEAU Service Engineer to service the greater Los Angeles area, offering on-site and remote support. You will diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, promote value-added services, and participate in ongoing training to advance technical depth.

Travel up to 80% locally and occasional nationwide travel may be required. A company service vehicle is provided and the role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime opportunities when

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics or related field.
• Proven electrical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Hands-on learner with drive to build technical depth.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics.
• Comfort using volt meters and oscilloscopes.
• Field Service experience is highly valued and may be required.
• Product experience: PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, CNCs training; prior experience helps.
• Travel up to 80%, with possible overnight travel; local region focus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and optimize electro-mechanical automation systems via on-site advanced troubleshooting.
• Deliver responsive on-site or remote support across channels.
• Promote value-added services and identify spare parts opportunities.
• Engage in ongoing technical training and collaborate to raise service delivery.
