Job summary

HITACHI GLOBAL AIR POWER US, LLC in Livermore, CA seeks an entry-level Apprentice to gain hands-on experience alongside skilled technicians and field service managers. Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English.
• Valid driver's license with at least 12 months of license time; no major violations in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Gaining hands on experience in field with Technicians and Field Service Manager.
• Developing skills for PM/basic trouble shooting.
• Understanding service requirements.
• Learning how to adjust controls and do start up.
• Provide additional support on two person jobs.
• Equipment cleaning.
• Travel to field jobsites with Technicians for basic troubleshooting, and service of Sullair products.
• Follow standard work for pre and post service preparation (expense reports, service reports, travel, timecards).
• Follow all Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company standards, while understanding customer needs.
• Dedicated to completion of responsibilities.
