Hitachi Global Air Power is recruiting an Apprentice in Kansas City, MO, to start a hands-on journey in the compressed air industry. You will learn from experienced service technicians and field service managers, gaining exposure to preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and startup procedures while supporting two-person field assignments.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (related industry experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements).
Associate degree a plus; Technical Trade School a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

Gain hands-on field experience with Technicians and Field Service Manager.
Develop skills for preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Understand service requirements and learning to adjust controls.
Assist on two-person jobs and equipment cleaning.
Travel to field sites with Technicians for troubleshooting and service of Sullair products.
Follow standard work for pre/post service preparation and travel arrangements.
Follow safety policies and project standards at all times.
