Job summary

Multivac is seeking a Field Application Support Specialist to provide hands-on equipment and application troubleshooting, repair, and installation in the field at customer sites. You will be the primary technical contact between MUUS and factory staff, delivering on-site support and guiding customers through complex machinery.

The role requires up to 90% travel, flexible hours, and occasional after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical certification in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Four years of field service or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills and PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical assistance and diagnose a broad range of issues at customer sites.
• Lead escalation for complex mechanical/electrical problems and coordinate with factories.
• Install, retrofit, and optimize machinery; develop technical documentation.
• Travel to customer sites up to 90% and support training and acceptance tests.
• Provide remote support with the help desk and maintain up-to-date reference materials.
