Job summary

Sears Home Services is seeking an in-home appliance service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential appliances across a variety of brands. You will work directly with customers in their homes, using electrical and mechanical skills to resolve issues and explain recommended solutions.

The role involves troubleshooting complex systems, maintaining the company vehicle, and delivering outstanding service with safety and efficiency in mind.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with residential appliances or field service preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, microwaves).
• Explain repairs and maintenance recommendations to customers while delivering quality service.
• Manage inventory and document completed work; maintain company vehicle.
• Identify solutions that extend appliance life and improve performance.
