Job summary

FirstEnergy Corp in Akron, OH, is seeking a Supervisor, Compliance Field Support & Physical Security to lead the Physical Security Field Support team, guide risk assessments, investigations and regulatory compliance across the service territory.

You will oversee audits, develop security policies, coordinate with law enforcement, and manage projects, budgets and timelines while collaborating with Corporate Security, Operations and IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with broad security background.
• 7+ years in physical security, compliance, risk management or related fields.
• Experience with NERC CIP standards and utility security requirements.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and develop Physical Security Field Representatives.
• Lead compliance with CIP Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee audits, investigations, threat assessments, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and law enforcement partners.
• Manage projects, budgets, and timelines across the territory.
