Job summary

Paycom seeks a Field Communications/SCADA Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot field communication and SCADA infrastructure supporting oil and gas operations in Farmington, NM. The candidate should be safety-conscious, technically capable, and able to work independently at remote sites.

Responsibilities include RF equipment installation, SCADA data diagnostics, TCP/IP networking, power system maintenance, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong troubleshooting and independent work capability.
• Experience with RF, SCADA, and industrial networking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain RF communication equipment.
• Diagnose problems using SCADA data, network monitoring, and RF tools.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP/Ethernet networks, IP addressing and VLANs.
• Maintain power systems for communications equipment, including solar and batteries.
• Record equipment configurations and site information accurately.
• Respond to outages and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Follow company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
