Job summary

Bayer is hiring for a full-time FSRT to train, develop, and support a US sales territory. You will start with mentorship and learn to manage a territory, with a focus on Seeds & Traits, Crop Protection, Agronomy, and Digital Farming Solutions.

The program includes a structured learning path and a national/local marketing collaboration. This role offers exposure to farmer customers, with a strong emphasis on coaching, data analytics, and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No prior years of experience required.
• Passionate about sales and the Agricultural industry.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Highly coachable with the ability to receive and act upon feedback.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; driving record will be reviewed.
• Ability to travel approximately 60% within the territory.
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor within a sales team to understand and support Bayer’s portfolio.
• Serve as the main contact for partner accounts in the assigned territory and sell Bayer Crop Science products.
• Develop relationships with farmer customers and partners and identify their needs.
• Learn and develop skills in sales, agronomy, business acumen, and product knowledge.
• Learn the sales process and cold calling techniques.
• Develop competency in Customer Centricity, Portfolio, Agronomic Knowledge, Channel Management, Data Analytics and Digital Tools, and Sales Coaching.
• Collaborate with teammates to maximize services and sales to farmers and partners.
