Job summary

Bayer CropScience Limited is seeking a Field Sales Rep Trainee in the United States. The role centers on training, developing, and supporting a sales territory with mentorship to prepare for independent territory management.

You will gain hands-on experience across Seeds & Traits, Crop Protection, and Digital Farming Solutions, paired with a mentor for feedback and coaching to build core sales, agronomy, and portfolio knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior years of experience required.
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a mentor within a sales team to understand and support the sales of Bayer's portfolio.
• Serve as the main point of contact for a subset of partner accounts within the assigned sales territory and effectively sell the value of Bayer Crop Science products.
• Develop relationships with farmer customers and partners and learn how to meet their needs.
• Show initiative and develop skills in sales, agronomy, business acumen, and product knowledge.
• Learn and develop confidence in the sales process and cold calling.
• Travel approximately 60% within the assigned sales territory (company vehicle provided).
