Job summary

CORE Foodservice, part of Acosta Group, is seeking a Field Sales Team member in the Detroit area to drive growth by selling CORE client products to existing and new customers. You will build long-term relationships, develop sales plans, and manage end-to-end sales processes using CRM tools.

You will travel within the territory, attend industry events, and collaborate with internal teams to meet targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Sell CORE client products to operators and new customers, building long-term relationships.
  • Conduct regular sales calls and client presentations to secure business growth.
  • Maintain a Platinum Partner Portfolio with 35 accounts every 60 days.
  • Use CRM for planning, reporting and lead tracking to drive sales activity.
  • Develop and execute sales plans with the team aligned to client goals.
  • Achieve sales targets through active client engagement and needs assessment.
  • Attend industry events to expand network and represent the company.

Description

As a Field Sales Team member, you will be an integral part of our sales strategy, working closely with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions. Your role will involve selling CORE client's products to both existing and new customers, ensuring a strong presence in the assigned territory. You will collaborate with the team to develop sales plans, execute targets, and manage the sales process effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Sell CORE client's products to operators, focusing on building long-term relationships.
  • Operator Contact: 70% of time allocation. Make, obtain, and secure sales. Develop and maintain sales through product presentations and customer interaction on behalf of CORE clients as directed.
  • Develop and maintain a Platinum Partner Portfolio, a minimum of 35 accounts by calling on them every 60 days.
  • Make a minimum of 12 sales calls per week.
  • Present a minimum of 3 clients on each sales call.
  • Utilize CRM for planning & reporting sales activity,
  • Develop and execute sales plans in collaboration with the team, ensuring alignment with client goals.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets by actively engaging with clients and understanding their requirements.
  • Manage the sales process end-to-end, utilizing CRM tools for efficient lead management and customer relationship tracking.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless sales process and timely delivery of products.
  • Generate sales reports and provide regular updates on sales performance to the management team.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and expand the network.
Qualifications
  • Proven sales experience in a field sales role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales management software.
  • A results-driven and target-oriented approach to sales.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if travel is required).
