We are currently looking for a Field Sales Specialist in Food Safety to join our team in our award-winning business in Italy, specifically based in Piemonte or Lombardi region.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for management and business growth in the assigned territory for all Neogen food safety products with particular focus on Microbiology products.
  • Develop and generate sales to meet or exceed budget sales reviews for products.
  • Help devise and implement a business plan for this territory based upon business requirements.
  • Support, drive and generate new business with existing direct accounts, looking for opportunities to cross sell and grow business.
  • Reporting to and liaising closely with the Divisional Manager for Italy.
  • Receive and respond rapidly to customer enquiries.
  • Have an excellent understanding of the products and services supplied and the national requirements.
  • Run and demonstrate all test kits in front of potential customers.
  • Be responsible for the first level of customer support regarding technical issues, complaints and product applications.
  • Extensive use of CRM providing updated and accurate information.
  • Assist with general financial management of territory, including setting budgets, obtaining forecasts and preparing reports as required.

About you:

  • Previous sales experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be highly motivated, driven with excellent organizational skills and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Life science, food related or other technical degree desirable.
