Position Overview
This role focuses on establishing new business relationships with DOD-related agencies, as well as state and federal law enforcement agencies, by leveraging new opportunities alongside existing relationships. The primary territories targeted are the EAST & SOUTHEAST THIRD of the United States, especially areas with a large DOD presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop directives for sales and representation strategies within DOD agencies and related industries.
- Utilize existing relationships, partners, and expertise to penetrate targeted industries and agencies.
- Understand customer needs to determine the best solutions from DRAXXON.
- Organize live demonstrations involving technical users and leadership, showcasing real-world scenarios.
- Participate in demonstrations for new and existing system product launches.
- Attend relevant events and conferences to network and generate new opportunities.
- Leverage virtual networking tools like LinkedIn and social media to establish contacts.
- Collaborate with DRAXXON design teams to understand customer needs and communicate feedback to R&D.
- Work with the sales team to report on sales pipelines, closure dates, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
- Assist in designing marketing materials and sales presentations to attract prospects.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience within a military, DOD, or federal law enforcement agency, with SOF experience a plus.
- Proactive communication skills and thorough follow-through throughout the sales cycle.
- Ability to quickly learn and discuss highly technical solutions and new technologies.
- Knowledge of government solicitation processes such as RFPs and RFIs.
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated team player with creative, out-of-the-box thinking.

- Salary Range: $75,000 – $120,000, with sign-on bonus available. Salary will be adjusted based on experience.
