Job summary

BMG is seeking a Field Sales Service Specialist to drive aftermarket revenue growth across its installed base in North America. The role combines technical service work with consultative selling, requiring travel and remote work options for qualified candidates.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and experience diagnosing equipment issues on the plant floor, translating findings into commercial proposals, and building credibility with plant leadership.

Qualifications

• Four‑year degree and/or minimum five years of relevant experience in aftermarket sales, service, or capital equipment support.
• Experience with capital equipment, plastics machinery, thermoforming, tooling, or industrial automation preferred.
• Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 75%).
• Ability to work in the United States on a permanent basis; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow customer accounts across North America as the primary aftermarket commercial and technical contact.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to drive aftermarket growth (parts, PMs, training, rebuilds, service).
• Identify, qualify, and close aftermarket opportunities with a consultative, value-based selling approach.
• Collaborate with Service, Engineering, and Inside Sales to define scope, pricing, timelines, and execution plans.
