Base salary range: $63,300.00 - $94,900.00, with an additional annual incentive/commission target of $32,000.00. Salary may vary based on location and experience.

Job Description

Manheim, a Cox Automotive brand, is hiring a Field Sales Representative/Senior Client Solutions Executive to join our team in the southern New Jersey/Philadelphia area. Candidates must reside in this area.

This role involves remote field sales, acting as the primary contact for existing dealer clients within Inventory Solutions. The role requires traveling to clients’ businesses 4-5 days a week to develop relationships, introduce solutions, and generate leads through consultation, focusing on in-lane and digital transactions.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to retain and grow revenue across Cox Automotive’s suite of services.
  2. Collaborate with departments across auction locations and other units to enhance client service and experience.
  3. Identify and develop opportunities with key accounts for other Cox Solutions groups, collaborating to close deals.
  4. Work with marketing, promotions, and sales teams to find growth opportunities.
  5. Meet monthly sales quotas and goals, with compensation partly based on achievement.
  6. Create value-added solutions to help clients and Inventory Solutions transact effectively and exceed sales targets.
  7. Focus on selling value-added solutions within a designated client portfolio.
  8. Work remotely with approximately 80% travel, employing a consultative sales approach at client locations.
  9. Maintain knowledge of auction and Inventory Solutions performance metrics.
  10. Demonstrate expertise in Inventory Solutions products, services, and operations across locations.
  11. Leverage Salesforce as a sales and informational tool.
  12. Consult and sell across all Cox Automotive clients, including franchise, wholesale, and independent dealers.
  13. Implement and follow the Inventory Solutions Sales Cycle.
  14. Work independently in various environments, including client sites and auctions.

Who You Are:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of automotive, auction, wholesale, or internet sales/service experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in automotive sales, auctions, wholesale, or internet sales/services.
  • Proven success in growing accounts.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com.
  • Experience with field visits to dealerships and auctions.
