Includes a base salary of $63,300 - $94,900, with potential variation based on location and experience. Also includes an annual incentive/commission target of $32,000.

Job Description

Overview: Cox Automotive's Manheim is hiring a Field Sales Representative/Senior Client Solutions Executive to serve the southern New Jersey/Philadelphia area. Candidates must reside in this area.

Role: A remote field sales professional acting as the key contact for existing dealer clients within Inventory Solutions, traveling 4-5 days a week to develop relationships, introduce solutions, and generate leads through consultation, focusing on in-lane and digital transactions.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue within assigned accounts across Cox Automotive.
  2. Collaborate with departments across auction locations and business units to enhance client service and experience.
  3. Identify and develop opportunities with key accounts for other Cox Solutions groups and assist in closing these opportunities.
  4. Work with marketing, promotions, and sales teams to identify growth opportunities.
  5. Meet monthly sales quotas and goals, with compensation linked to performance.
  6. Create value-added solutions to facilitate transactions and exceed sales targets.
  7. Primary focus on selling value-added solutions within a designated book of business.
  8. Work remotely with approximately 80% travel, employing a consultative sales approach at client locations.
  9. Maintain expertise in Inventory Solutions products, services, and operating locations.
  10. Leverage Salesforce for sales and informational purposes.
  11. Consult and sell across all Cox Automotive wholesale solutions to diverse client types.
  12. Implement and follow the Inventory Solutions Sales Cycle.
  13. Operate independently in various environments, including client sites and auctions.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 4 years’ experience in automotive, auction, wholesale, or internet sales/services, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Knowledge of sales, marketing techniques, and relationship building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Automotive, auction, wholesale, internet sales experience.
  • Proven ability to grow existing accounts and familiarity with Salesforce.
  • Experience conducting field visits to dealerships and auctions.
