Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Jackson, TN is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to grow our customer base and strengthen partnerships across the territory. You will cultivate relationships, identify prospects, and present tailored solutions that align with our products and service offerings.

The role includes training, a compensation mix of salary, commission, and bonuses, and opportunities to advance within a respected food-service leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and relationship management for existing and prospective customers in assigned territory.
• Pursue new customers and develop sales strategies.
• Deepen and strengthen relationships with existing customers; conduct business reviews.
• Manage sales territory and coordinate visits.
• Provide ongoing training to customers on Gordon Food Service products.
• Communicate order status and updates to customers.
