Job summary

Gordon Food Service invites you to join our sales team in Jackson, TN, where you will manage the overall sales and relationships for your territory. You’ll pursue new customers, deepen existing relationships, and coordinate territory management to meet targets.

You’ll visit customers regularly, review needs, and train them on our products and services while delivering value through solutions and strong service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall sales and relationship efforts for existing and prospective customers in assigned territory.
• Pursue new customers and develop sales strategies to present Gordon Food Service offerings.
• Visit customers on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis to review needs and opportunities.
• Provide training to customers on product offerings and identify value-added services.
• Coordinate visits and communicate order status and updates to customers.
