Placements24 is looking for a driven Field Sales Representative to promote a range of fast-moving consumer goods to retailers and wholesalers in the Welkom area. You will build strong relationships, drive revenue, and ensure products are well displayed and available to consumers.

The role requires excellent communication, a willingness to travel within the territory, and a high school diploma. A business/marketing degree is advantageous, and a company vehicle with fuel allowance is provided

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or marketing is advantageous.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the FMCG sector or retail environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and be willing to travel extensively within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote and sell FMCG products to a diverse customer base, including independent retailers, supermarkets, and wholesalers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and objectives on a consistent basis.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base in the Welkom territory.
• Ensure effective merchandising and product placement in retail outlets to maximize visibility and sales.
• Report on sales activities, market feedback, and competitor information to the sales manager.

About the Role

You will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of fast-moving consumer goods to existing and new clients, including retailers and wholesalers throughout Welkom, Free State. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to build strong customer relationships. You will be the face of our client's brands in the territory, playing a vital role in expanding market reach and driving revenue growth, ensuring our products are prominently displayed and readily available to consumers.
