Mediacom Communications is hiring a Direct Sales Representative to sell internet, video, home phone, and mobile services. The role includes training, field support, and regular team meetings to achieve targets.

Candidates should be self-motivated and sales-driven, with a proven track record and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of direct sales or outside/fields sales experience preferred.
• Must be sales driven, team-player with a positive people orientation.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and access to a personal vehicle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with internet-related devices (tablets, smartphones, routers, modems, etc.).
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Some cities require solicitor's permits for door-to-door sales.

Responsibilities

• Obtain sales by canvassing door to door and meet/exceed sales targets.
• Present payment options and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Canvassing door to door daily 11am–8pm.
• Receive performance updates from supervisor and management team.
• Travel within Mediacom territory; can include interstate travel; costs covered.
• As a community ambassador, lead trainings, plan team and community events.
