Job summary

Mediacom Communications is hiring a Direct Sales Representative to sell internet services and other Mediacom products including video, home phone, and mobile. The role offers paid training, extensive field support, weekly meetings, and a path to advancement.

Ideal candidates are sales-driven, with a proven record of excellence, a competitive spirit, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. A reliable vehicle and driving license are required.

Qualifications

• One year of direct outside sales experience preferred.
• Must be sales-driven, success-driven, and a team player.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain sales by canvassing door to door and meet/exceed targets.
• Present payment options and complete paperwork for customers.
• Canvass daily 11am–8pm when prospects are home.
• Travel within Mediacom territory; state-to-state trips may occur; company covers costs.
• Support team with trainings, meetings, and events.
