Job summary

Opterra Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to acquire new and returning customers for vegetation management services.

The role blends office work with on-site visits to industrial plants, airports, distribution centers, and other urban facilities. Responsibilities include conducting sales activities via face-to-face and remote channels, understanding client needs, and coordinating with internal teams to fulfill orders.

Qualifications

• Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate using various digital methods.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain our service or product value.

• Keep accurate records, prepare proposals, and other administrative tasks using company-designated software and methods.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to safety procedures including conforming to all OSHA standards and properly using PPE.

• Complete daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual goals and quotas.
• Operate company-vehicle safely.
• Confer with supervisors to make sales decisions.
• Participate in company meetings, trainings, and state licensure programs.
