Job summary

Allegiant Business Group seeks an outside sales representative and trainer in a local, in-person capacity. You will build your book of business in the territory while coaching newer reps through ride-alongs and field coaching.

This is a 1099 contractor role with commission-based pay and a draw, plus licensing support and training materials. You must be licensed in Health & Life or commit to licensure within 90 days; travel within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Field-based outside sales experience in B2B settings.
• Experience mentoring or training sales professionals in the field.
• Strong presentation skills for 1:1 and group settings.
• Familiarity with CRM systems; Salesforce preferred.
• Licensed in Health & Life insurance, or willing to obtain licensure within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dependable outside sales producer in your assigned territory.
• Deliver clear, professional benefit presentations to business owners and employee groups.
• Conduct ride-alongs, call/meeting debriefs, role-plays, and field coaching for new and developing reps.
• Develop and maintain concise training materials, playbooks, and short coaching modules.
• Work with leadership to set realistic activity goals and improve conversion metrics.
• Maintain your own client portfolio while supporting the growth and retention of your team's production.
