Job summary

Allegiant Business Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative and Trainer in a local territory with face-to-face meetings. This 1099 contractor role blends field sales with hands-on training, including ride-alongs and coaching, to grow a personal book of business and mentor others.

The ideal candidate has a track record in outside/B2B sales, strong presentation skills, and is licensed in Health & Life insurance or willing to obtain licensure within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in outside or B2B sales.
• Experience mentoring, training, or coaching sales professionals in the field.
• Strong presentation skills for 1:1 meetings and groups.
• Organized, practical, and methodical; follows systems in coaching.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data-driven coaching.
• Licensed in Health & Life insurance, or willing to obtain licensure within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dependable outside sales producer in your assigned territory.
• Deliver clear, professional benefit presentations to business owners and employee groups.
• Conduct ride-alongs, call/meeting debriefs, role-plays, and field coaching for new and developing reps.
• Develop and maintain concise training materials, playbooks, and short coaching modules.
• Work with leadership to set realistic activity goals and improve conversion metrics.
• Maintain your own client portfolio while supporting growth and retention of your team's production.
