Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive new business and expand strategic relationships in the Greater Chicagoland area. You will develop prospects, interact with customers, and manage accounts to increase sales and margins on Wesco products and services.

You will engage with technical, operations, supply chain, and executive stakeholders, delivering bids, proposals, and product demonstrations as needed for closing deals.

Qualifications

• Two years of outside sales experience preferred.
• Ability to travel 50%–75% to meet clients and suppliers.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills with strong presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and suggest products and solutions; drive the sales process.
• Execute and expand assigned account plans developed with management.
• Deliver quotations and proposals; support sales with product demos.
• Prospect new customers through cold calls and referrals.
• Maintain relationships and drive customer satisfaction post-sale.
• Travel to client sites and participate in joint sales calls with suppliers.
