Job summary

Great Lakes Wine & Spirits is seeking a Sales Consultant (Commission) for our Retail Chain Team servicing multiple accounts in Ypsilanti, MI. This field-based role focuses on selling, servicing, developing and growing the GLWAS portfolio within established customer accounts, with opportunities for upward mobility based on performance.

The position offers a draw plus commission, with total earnings estimated around $52,000 per year, plus a monthly car allowance and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• High School Diploma or GED; bachelor's preferred.
• Sales experience (2+ years) preferred.
• Retail experience (2+ years) preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and iOS devices.
• Positive, entrepreneurial attitude and competitive mindset.
• Willingness to learn and implement new skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly objectives on priority brands and programs.
• Build positive relationships with decision makers.
• Present professional sales presentations.
• Develop product knowledge of GLWAS offerings.
• Attend weekly meetings to review objectives.
• Manage master routes and ensure shelves are stocked.
• Post retail pricing accurately and timely.
• Ensure POS materials are up to date and placed effectively.
