Job summary

Turtle, a long-established electrical distributor, seeks an Outside Sales Associate to manage and grow customer accounts, promote products, and pursue new business across an assigned territory. You will build strong relationships, understand customer operations, and coordinate quotations and follow-up to close sales.

The role requires travel, sharp negotiation, and a proactive, results-driven approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial and/or Commercial experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Experience with multiple sales areas: Industrial, OEM, Automation, Lighting, Power Distribution, Commodities, Energy.
• Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive decisions with influence.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products.
• Grow existing accounts and pursue new business.
• Pursue product applications using knowledge, internal resources, and vendor reps.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Understand customer operations to identify objectives and preferences.
• Process product quotations with inside sales and follow up during purchase cycle.
• Travel within an assigned territory; operate a motor vehicle with valid license.
