Job summary

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is expanding its Outside Sales team in the Lexington area, focusing on growing B2B relationships with contractors, builders, and architects. You will present value-driven solutions, support clients in the field, and drive long-term revenue across commercial and residential markets.

The role emphasizes strong communication, a proactive sales approach, and collaboration with internal and vendor teams to deliver competitive offerings and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Effective and skillful communication, negotiation, and computer skills.
• Great interpersonal skills and social competency.
• Professional demeanor, organized and reliable.
• Ambition, a strong work ethic, and a student mentality.
• At least two years of previous sales experience in building materials preferred.
• Building Materials background helpful; Fiberglass insulation, spray foam insulation and accessories is a plus.
• Knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales Support.
• Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships.
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers, architects, contractors, designers, and building owners.
• Develops and delivers sales presentations for new and existing customers with internal or vendor sales reps.
• Attend and participate in required company training sessions and vendor trainings.
• Support Our Foundation in Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, and Integrity.
