Meyer Distributing Inc is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth by visiting prospective and current customers, promoting promotions, and expanding market share in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Previous automotive parts knowledge and sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represents Meyer and its interests with the highest regard for customer satisfaction in a professional manner.
• Travel within assigned territory for daily face-to-face interaction with prospects and customers.
• Responsible for growth and development of sales and market share within assigned territory.
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers.
• Enter/maintain daily visit notes for all sales visits.
• Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally.
• Identify customer buying patterns and implement plans to increase sales or offer alternatives.
• Sell the company's products/services to customers through product knowledge and promotions.
• Monitor competitors and market conditions to understand customer needs.
• Responsible for company car, credit card, laptop, gas cards and any other company provided equipment.
