Job summary

Meyer Distributing is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth in our Jasper, IN territory. You will visit prospective and existing customers to present products, build relationships, and close deals, while representing our brand with the highest level of customer satisfaction.

The role requires daily field presence, a valid driver’s license, and a focus on achieving territory growth. Compensation is annual with opportunities for advancement and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Previous automotive parts knowledge and sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Meyer with focus on customer satisfaction.
• Travel within territory for daily face-to-face meetings.
• Grow sales and market share within assigned territory.
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers.
• Enter daily visit notes for all sales visits.
• Educate customers on product benefits.
• Identify top sellers and plan to increase sales.
• Sell products using knowledge and promotions.
• Monitor competitors and market conditions to meet customer needs.
• Handle company-provided equipment and assets.
